etched in time

Petroglyphs: Images or symbols carved, pecked, or etched into a rock surface by ancient people. These prehistoric rock carvings are found worldwide and often represent animals, humans, tools, or abstract patterns, offering insights into early cultures, beliefs, and communication methods.

In the quiet canyons and sun-washed cliffs of Utah, stories linger — carved into stone by hands long gone. These ancient petroglyphs and pictographs, etched into the desert landscape, speak in symbols that transcend centuries.

Etched in Time is a jewelry collection that draws from this deep well of inspiration, transforming timeless rock art into modern wearable pieces. Each pendant, etched by hand in warm copper or golden brass and paired with natural stone beads, is a tribute to the enduring artistry of the past — a dialogue between earth, memory, and adornment.

The process behind my own handcrafted designs—original creations inspired by and adapted from ancient rock drawings. Each piece begins with careful study of these timeless markings and is transformed through detailed etching into wearable jewellery that honors the spirit of the land and its first storytellers.
