A little something which turned out rather nice and is worth sharing, even if it is only because the ‘customer’ is so very very cute!

A friend saw this somewhere and wanted to get it made for her daughter. At the time, I had been working on wax rings that I was going to send off for casting and thought to try this fingerprint and snout print pendant by using modeling wax. A little ball of wax was sent off and after a view tries, Disco’s snout print on the one side and his owners fingerprint on the other side were clear enough to try it being casted. We chose bronze since the preference went out to something gold like. I was happily surprised by the results – clear and sharp copy of the little snout and fingerprint – ideal to keep a little furry friend close to your heart!
